Meet Twristan-Paris-the one Dice-K calls Wonder Woman as she is one that is learning to do it all. Hired on as a dishwasher back in early March as she was just looking for any kind of work, we quickly noted what a fast & eager learner she was.

This Yakima, Wa -Vancouver, Wa raised graduated from Hudson’s Bay back in the day where she got her foot in the door volunteering at the Boy’s & Girl’s Club & started her training to become a firefighter ! As life takes us on different journeys, Twristan ended up putting her career goal on pause to bring into the world her beautiful son Bentley “b/c he definitely was expensive as one.”

Now at La Sorrentina, Twristan is stepping out of her comfort level to take on new skills as pastry chef, dough prep, prep cook among sub-in server, etc. Like we said: Wonder Woman. She too hopes to one day learn how to cook off pizzas.

When asked what her favorite thing about working at La Sorrentina is thus far she responded, “Definitely building my skills set & filling up my belly. I also definitely love creating all the new relationships at La Sorrentina with our staff.”

When not at La Sorrentina you will find this animal lover reading, going on hikes, or gardening. She will also be a fur grandma soon as her Belgian Malinois is expecting babies soon.

When discussing what her favorite pizza is she mentioned one that was created for our special staff party : beef ragú pizza. She also loves the pastiera tart.

We are so fortunate to have such a joyful, detail-oriented & hardworking young lady working with us. And whether she decides to go back to train as a firefighter, become our upcoming pastry chef or go back to volunteering in the community-we will gratefully appreciate all the time we get to work with Ms. Twristan-Paris.
