Meet Theo, our pizzaiolo right-hand man. This young & upcoming great pizzaiolo is from Berlin, Maryland. He & his significant other one day decided to seek nature & adventure & made the PNW their home roughly 5 months ago.
When Theo saw advertised a position to work with Daisuke he jumped right on it & visited us the next day! Fortunately for us Theo attended the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana Escuela in Naples, Italy back in 2015…so with roughly 4 days being hired on he was able to at least get in the soft-opening with us. For Theo, Making Pizza Napoletana, creating creative inventory sheets, & walking the trails with his two dogs Chip & Dale are his passion.
When asked why he wanted to work here with us he responded, β€œI wanted to work with Daisuke.” When asked where he sees himself in 10 years he answered, β€œWorking with Daisuke!” πŸ˜‚ thanks Theo. πŸ˜‚ He is enjoying his time back with us & learning the trade this way, so that he can be even more prepared for when dine-in will occur. β€œI just can’t wait to actually spend more time with our Sorrentina customers & share stories with them & laugh & see them take that first bite right after their pizza comes out of the oven.”
Ah Theo, we thank our lucky stars that you & Amanda chose this area to start a new chapter in life. We are so grateful you share the same passion & culinary dreams for making authentic Cucina Napoletana as we do.
